Catalyst tools are made from flexible silicone to allow artists a new form of expression. Catalyst blades are mounted on brush handles that offer a blend of tradition and innovation.
Designed for use with paints, they can be used with oils, acrylics and water mixable oils and encaustics, due to their resistance to heat. Also with plaster, clay and even glaze. Made from FDA-approved silicone, Catalyst tools are ideal for food processing.
Easy to clean and resistant to solvents. Cleaning in most cases can be done with soap and water. Dried paint can be removed from the silicone surface. They can even be detached from their wooden handles for easy cleaning and replacement when dry.
