Lighter pigments like Light Blue (N. 8) can be prone to uneven delivery through very fine tips — the PC1MR metal barrel helps by maintaining steadier internal pressure, giving illustrators and pattern designers a more reliable, consistent stroke at 0.7 mm. Particularly effective for sky washes over white card, fine detail on watercolour backgrounds, and fabric painting where a gentle, washed colour is the goal. Fix on textiles with a dry iron pressed on the reverse side of the fabric.
